Social Media Watch takes the stage at BVM Innovations Prize 2024

1. Juli 2024

Shortlisted by the Professional Association of German Market and Social Researchers

Our new research tool, “Social Media Watch”, was presented to Germany's top market researchers last week, with Andrea Eckes taking the stage for an exciting showcase of its functions and potential, as part of the annual Innovation Award competition. In a tightly contested field of extraordinary projects we felt great pride in being shortlisted, and are grateful to the BVM (Professional Association of German Market and Social Researchers) for the recognition.

The BVM Congress was held in Frankfurt on 5 June with the theme of "Sustainable Society: Successful Transformation through Market Research" for over 170 attendees. The event focused on sustainability, “say-do gap”, achievements – as the conference key topics, followed by recognitions for the market research personality of the year, the best market research thesis, and the most innovative tool.

Our "Social Media Watch" was selected to be a part of the shortlist, alongside two other nominees. It was recognized as innovative for its capability to track and analyze social media usage and ad interactions across various platforms, using a passive measurement method and capturing user behavior without influencing it, ensuring authentic data collection. This approach combines in-app and HTML measurements with surveys to provide comprehensive insights into social media interactions and advertising effectiveness.

The  award went to "Response Mapper" by Serviceplan's Facit Research and Mediaplus. This tool aims to optimize survey responses and improve data quality, marking a significant advancement in market research methodologies. Congratulations for the well-deserved win!

A special thanks to our teams for their work that brought "Social Media Watch" to the award stage.
